Website privacy.
This notice covers the Familiar website and its launch-update form. Familiar is in development; this is not the future app’s privacy policy.
What you give us
If you sign up, we store your email, your optional response, the time of signup, your consent, and the version of this notice. The form is for Familiar launch and early-access updates. Don’t include sensitive information in the optional response.
How it is stored and used
The website runs on Vercel. Signup records are stored in a private Vercel Blob store, accessible through authorized server credentials. We use your email for the updates you requested, and your optional response to understand what people want help with. We do not sell this signup information.
Website requests
Vercel processes request information such as IP addresses and technical logs to serve and protect the website. We also use a temporary, per-server hash of a request’s IP address to limit repeated form submissions. This site does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
Removing your signup
After signup, the website gives you a private removal link. Keep it to remove your email and optional response at any time. Anyone with that link can remove your signup, so don’t share it publicly. Removal is confirmed only after the stored record is deleted.
We keep signup records until you remove them or they are no longer needed for launch and early-access updates. Hosting logs may be retained separately by Vercel under its policies.
